Powers and duties (as administering body) to give or decline to give consent to licences for the erection of shelters, huts, form tracks, etc on any reserve vested in it(for a period not exceeding 5 years) for/in connection with communications stations.
Duties (as administering body) before granting of a licence that is not in conformity with a management plan to give requisite public notice.

Powers and duties (as administering body) re granting/declining right to take flora/fauna, rock minerals/soil for scientific or educational purposes.
Restriction: The power under s49 as delegated under the Instrument is subject to the limitations set out in the Schedule to the Instrument (delegation re fauna relates only to exotic fauna that are not protected under the Wildlife Act 1953) and cannot be sub-delegated.
Powers and duties (as administering body) re authorising/declining to authorise the taking and killing of exotic fauna from a scenic/ historic/nature/scientific and re the use firearms/traps, etc for that purpose.
Powers (as administering body) to authorise/decline to authorise the introduction of indigenous or exotic flora/fauna/into any scenic reserve subject for the purposes specified.
Powers and duties (as administering body) in relation to recreation reserves as specified subject to obtaining the consent of the Minister where provided and the restrictions set out below.
Restrictions:
a. Power to enter into an agreement for use of a reserve is limited to a period not exceeding 5 years.

Power (as administering body) to consent to or decline to lease the whole or part of a recreation reserve set apart for racecourse purposes to a racing club (for a period not exceeding 5 years).

Power (as administering body that is a local authority), to farm or graze a recreation or local purpose reserve in the circumstances described.
Power (as administering body) to enter into an agreement or lease for farming or grazing operations by another person on a recreation or local purpose reserve (for a period not exceeding 5 years).
Restriction: The power under s 72(1) as delegated under the Instrument of Delegation cannot be sub-delegated.
Powers and duties (as administering body) to grant or decline to grant a lease (for a period not exceeding 5 years) in respect of recreation reserves vested in it for farming/grazing/afforestation purposes.
Powers and duties (as administering body) to grant leases (for a period not exceeding 5 years) in circumstances where a reserve vested in it is not being used for the purposes of a recreation reserve and to consent or decline to consent to the surrender of such leases.
