Power (as road controlling authority) re any road under its control, by notice, to direct that heavy traffic/specified kind of heavy traffic may not proceed between any 2 specified places; Duty (as road controlling authority) to display copy of notice as specified. 

Duties (as road controlling authority that is a local authority) in relation to consultation, notification requirements, making provision for submissions, before a bylaw is made under s22AB of the Act.

Duties (as road controlling authority) to give public notice of the making of the bylaw/keep copies available for inspection/provide copies as specified. 

Power (as local authority) to appoint person as parking warden.

Duties (as enforcement authority) re the provision of details and payment of infringement fees; Power (as enforcement authority that is a local authority) to retain a portion/all of fees;for certain infringement offences/towage fees as specified

Duty (as local authority storing vehicle impounded under s 249) to return personal property on request to the owner/person acting on their behalf (as evidenced).

Duty (as local authority) to store vehicle seized and impounded if so directed by an enforcement officer (note, a parking warden is not an enforcement officer for the purposes of the Act).

Power (as local authority) to recover, without limitation, fees charges incurred for towage and storage from the owner of the vehicle.

Power (as local authority) to authorise person to enter into appropriate arrangements with vehicle recovery/storage providers.

Duty (as storage provider) to release vehicle in the circumstances specified.

Powers and duties (as local authority storing vehicle) re disposing of the vehicle impounded under the conditions and within the time limit specified.
