Freedom Camping Act 2011

Duty to use special consultative procedure before deciding to make a bylaw under the Act.

Power to issue proceedings for an offence other than an infringement notice.

Power to issue infringement notices.

Power to issue reminder notice.

Power to retain all infringement fees from infringement notices issued by its enforcement officers.

Power to appoint person to be an enforcement officer for the purposes of the Act.

Duty to issue warrants to enforcement officers.

Duty , on request of owner/person from whom the property was seized, to return the property under the circumstances specified.

Power to dispose of property that has not been returned within 6 months of seizing and impounding, subject to giving the requisite notification. Duty to apply apply the proceeds of the sale of the property as prescribed.
